A Solana research desk retired its bespoke indexing stack and moved its protocol coverage onto OnchainQueries.

Placeholder — this company and every figure above are invented.

Northgate ran four separate indexers, each maintained by a different person, each with its own schema and its own backfill quirks. Answering a question that spanned two protocols meant reconciling two schemas first.

Moving to OnchainQueries meant the reconciliation step disappeared: every program follows the same naming convention, so a query across Raydium and Orca is a union rather than a translation exercise.

The team kept its warehouse. OnchainQueries sits upstream of it, exporting checksum-verified Parquet on a schedule, which means the numbers in the warehouse can be traced back to a manifest.
